Fashion week

This week all ty's were busy getting there mini company product ready to sell at the fashion show. It was our first opportunity to sell our product to the public. Busy making posters and making final fixtures.
 People in the school volunteered to be models to walk in the show and others to dance, sing to perform or to help our backstage.
The day came and everyone was ready. The room of the runway was transformed.
The show was really good and everything went perfectly. Everyone looked like they were enjoying themselves. Even the teachers performed, models and dances.

Glow&Co

                   ~ Mini Company ~

This week has mostly been focused on mini company. My mini company is called Glow&co. Our product is decorated, scented colourful candles mostly in containers such as jars. We make them from scratch, ordering wax, wicks, scents, colours, pants, jars ect to make the candle look at good as possible. We struggled a good bit because not everyone in our group is always in or when we plan something not everyone is available, But we get past it.

Serena came in to the school on Tuesday, to help us with our company and to guide us in the right direction and to answer any of our questions. I ordered our raw materials so we can begin to make our product to be ready to sell, hopefully to have our first opportunity to sell at the fashion in The Celbridge Manor Hotel. One of the girls made all our social media accounts which will hopefully help our progress.

Carton house 

This week we went on a trip to carton house to the art exhibition in Maynooth. We left the school at two. First we looked around the different sculptures. The Exhibit is called vanishing art. This is to show people the work of sculpture because this art is dying out. This exhibition is fully of beautiful art sculptures both inside and outside carton house, In the building, out oh the grass and even in the lake. We were giving work sheets to fill in about the sculptures and how we think about the exhibition and what we think the message behind it is.
